Manager accused of stealing $100K from animal hospital | Business

On Tuesday, Caddo Parish Deputies arrested an office manager for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars from her employer.

Caddo Parish investigators arrested 38-year-old Amy Jefferson of Elysian Fields, Texas, charging her with felony theft for stealing over $100,000 from the animal hospital where she worked. Investigators say Jefferson is accused of stealing cash coming in to the office and altering the financial records to conceal the thefts. A surveillance camera recorded the money being stolen.

Jefferson is currently being held in the Caddo Correctional Center.
