State to close LA 169 east of Mooringsport for 2 weeks | Transportation
Beginning November 1, LA 169 (Dixie-Mooringsport Rd.) between LA 1 and LA 538 (Old Mooringsport Rd.) will be closed for about two weeks.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development says during that time, crews will work to realign LA 169 at LA 1. There will be detour signs advising drivers to use take LA 538 south to LA 173, and drive east toward LA 1.
LA DOTD reminds motorists to please drive carefully through construction zones and watch out for work crews and equipment. The work will be done weather permitting.
